Catering by George’s big-hearted team has been whipping up fresh, high-quality food in one of Texas’ greatest cities for over 30 years. Kim and Jeffrey George found each other shortly after he founded the company, meeting while bidding on an event. Jeffrey not only won the event, he found his bride. Catering by George continued working with Kim and her event-planning company, Classic Events, planning events together (including that first one!) for five years and then planning their own wedding.
They both developed their passion for food and entertaining early in life. All throughout her childhood on the East Coast, Kim enjoyed cooking and baking with her family. Jeffrey became interested in cooking as a teenager while living next door to a popular Chinese chef in Houston. He quickly became the chef’s protégé and still favors Asian cooking.
