Paul and Dorinda Obsta met in high school in 1997. After graduation, Paul started working for a local water softener installer and while he liked the work, he wanted to expand his plumbing knowledge. Paul took the opportunity to work for a local plumbing company and learned all about the industry. They married in 2000 and had their first daughter in 2000 and their second in 2009. In 2010 they launched Obsta Plumbing.
Paul’s previous work with residential, commercial and medical plumbing companies gave him insight into the specific needs of these customers. Dorinda and Paul decided to offer services to residential, commercial and medical customers—allowing them to help solve any plumbing OBSTAcle!
Some of our favorite OBSTAcles overcome: the boy who unexpectedly found a water leak from the shower light when he was taking a shower; fixing a gas leak after a homeowner called the gas company, who pulled their meter and told them to call their plumber; re-piping homes for homeowners to replace galvanized pipes that rust from the inside out, causing leaks. Our most common residential call is to help homeowners when their water heaters fail—we can repair or replace them quickly so there are no more cold showers!
